Problematic Education Part Two - To Kill a Public School
The legacy of the No Child Left Behind act is a series of school closures and state takeovers in the management of those schools. How does a school pay their bills? What happens to a school when they can no longer pay their bills, and even more importantly, what happens to the children and the neighborhoods left behind when the schools close their doors?
I seek to answer those questions in this essay.
